Some History

Black Bear has been in operation since 1989. Originally, the company was based out of North Royalton, Ohio and was moved to Independence, Ohio. When we first began we only serviced immediate areas within Cuyahoga County, we have broadened our customer base to include areas of Portage, Geauga, Summit, and Medina Counties.

We are licensed, bonded and insured. Black Bear is a member in good standing with the Greater Cleveland Growth Association, National Arborist Association, and our president is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture - Ohio Chapter. Our employees are fully trained in the field and are directly supervised by the president.
